endeavour redemption. i dislike how the endgame for endeavour's redemption arc went but i don't necessarily dislike the idea of it. my blog follows the canon up to chapter 252 (where enji has decided to leave the family alone and allow them to come to him on their terms) and outright ignores everything from the end of chapter 302 when it comes to the endeavour redemption arc (where rei, fuyumi, and natsuo take the part of the blame for tōya/dabi and shōto is hailed as the family's hero).that being said, i am not an endeavour apologist. he abused every single person in his family, and i don't make light on that. just because we champion for change on this blog doesn't mean that we ignore the disgusting behaviour.

i dislike the last dabi and shōto fight. quite honestly, i have no idea why. i am pushing it away to deal with at a later time because i have no idea how i want to fix it either. just note that i am going to be very vague as to how the fight went due to this.there are a few things that i liked about it (shōto purposefully creating a move that would cool tōya down and keep him alive, shōto screaming at tōya to come back and kill him) but otherwise... it didn't feel narratively strong to me and i didn't like it.

unless plotted otherwise, assume that shōto has a girlfriend by the name of mōri harumi. i am still very open to ships (only with characters his age), so please don't hesitate to reach out to ship with me! however, just because i'm accidentally too fond of the oc that i created for this, it's remaining "canon".

rei's breakdown and subsequent hospitalisation happened when shōto was five, natsuo was eight, fuyumi was twelve, and tōya was thirteen. it also happened only a month or two after tōya's "death".shōto was strongly kept in isolation from his siblings after he began training at the age of four. he actually lived in a separate wing of the manor with his father, and the rest of his siblings and rei lived in a different wing. while rei was allowed to transverse both sides until her breakdown, the siblings were not allowed to cross sides. as such, fuyumi, tōya, and natsuo were really close with each other, but not so much with shōto. in fact, the only time the two “set” of siblings ever really saw each other was at dinner, which endeavour did allow everyone to eat at the same table, but it was always very quiet.
